6 Months Old...Time is flying by

Hello all!

Elliott had his six month birthday on the 22nd of April. I cannot believe it has already been six months. He is growing so fast and I cannot believe how smart he is already.

Doctor's notes:

We have finally chosen a doctor at Kaplan Barron Pediatrics, Elliott's pediatrician will be Dr. David Katz. If you would like to meet Dr. Katz feel free to visit http://www.kaplanbarron.com/meet-us/david-katz-md.php to find out more about him. In short he very attentive, caring, and concerned about children's well being. He is funny, straight forward, and spends a lot of time with Elliott.

Okay on to the good stuff...

Weight 16 lbs 7 oz
Length 26 2/8 inches
Head 16 12/16 inches

The bump on Elliott's head is still working it's way down and at this point is not to be worried about.

Elliott is developing right on schedule and Dr. Katz is very impressed with how active he is. Dr. Katz also had wonderful comments on Elliott's ability to keep himself entertained.

On a down note, Elliott still has some fluid in his ears. He has been put on antibiotics again for the next ten day and he is taking Zyrtec to help with possible allergies.

Good note... Elliott does not seem too bothered by his allergies, just a very runny nose and some sneezing.

Elliott has gone back to sleeping through the night. Bedtime is 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. and he sleeps until around 7 a.m. I am personally loving it!

He has now had all of the stage 1 veggies and he has started of fruits and meats.

Pears...a little tart but he seems to enjoy them
Chicken...we have been sneaking it in his cereal. At first he knew it was there, after a few meals he now is okay with it and doesn't make any yucky faces.

Developing notes:

We now have a baby that rolls. Yip that is right not only does he go from belly to back but now back to belly. YIPPY!!! He has even started to creep while on his belly. Video to come soon.

I do not have pictures to include in this post, but they will be posted soon. The camera is in the car and we are having ALOT of rain today.

I believe that is all for now. We love and miss everyone who is not near.

Peace and Blessings to all,
Love, The Lainharts

Elliott's First Easter

Here is Elliott's outfit for church. Enjoy it because he doesn't wear it long. He made it through church with it on and then when we got home and changed his diaper he decided to pee all over it. You just have to love little boys.

First Easter Egg Hunt

Today Mommy, Daddy, and me went to and Easter Egg hunt at church. We had a lot of fun. There were arts and crafts, and a lot of kids running around. I sat with Mommy while she decorated a sugar cookie with strawberry icing and jelly beans. Mommy and Daddy split the cookie and they said it was really yummy. Then I made a duck with a cup and sponge and a string. When Mommy pulled on the string the duck would quack. I really thought that was funny and loved it. Mommy finally let me hold the duck so I could chew on it. That is what I am holding in my pictures.

After the Easter Egg hunt I ate dinner, I didn't bite Mommy this time. But this morning I bit her, I don't think she liked it very much because she jumped and made a funny noise. Before I went to bed tonight Mommy and Daddy decided to see if I would like peas. And I did, nothing exciting, I just liked them.

It is now time for me to night night so I can get ready for the Easter Bunny. Make sure to check back soon for my first Easter pictures. Love Ellz (this is my nick name for the week)
